As far as places to stay, there’s nowhere near as special and quirky as the Madonna Inn. The hotel offers 110 rooms, each one unique and as extravagant as the next. There are plenty of alternative options to stay nearby. Downtown San Luis Obispo, which is a 5-minute drive to the venue, has hotels at various pricing options and you can walk to plenty of shops and restaurants/bars. If you’re looking for the beach, try Morro Bay or Pismo Beach. We hear that Pismo Beach can be quite crowded and rowdy over the holiday, so book wisely if you want to avoid the chaos. If you want to expand further, Santa Barbara, Cambria, and dozens of other great towns are all within reach (</= 1-hour drive).
